Auction 20 - Spring '23 NETHERLAND'S GOLD | THE GRAIN COLLECTION

The Grain Collection is a cross-sectional collection of 85 Netherlands gold ducats, built over a decade, which is one of the largest offers of this denomination at auctions in Poland in recent years. Its name refers to the grain trade between the Republic of Poland and the Netherlands, for which the latter paid in gold ducats. As we read in the catalog introduction by Dariusz Jasek, "it is a rare review of the Netherlands gold coinage on the market".
