Józef Feliks Męcina-Krzesz (born January 2, 1860 in Kraków, died December 2, 1934 in Poznań) - Polish painter. He painted paintings with religious and historical content, as well as portraits.He graduated from the Real School. Then, in 1877-1884, he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow with Władysław Łuszczkiewicz and Florian Cynk. In 1882-1884 he was a student of Jan Matejko.In 1884 he received a scholarship from the National Department and 1886 he went to Paris for further studies, where he studied at the school of Jean-Paul Laurens. He collaborated as an illustrator with the magazines "L'Illustration" and "Figaro Illustré." In 1888 he married the French painter Louise Marie Barat. He was a member of the board of directors of the General Association of Polish Artists from 1894 and the Union Internationale des Beaux-Arts et des Lettres in Paris from 1913.
