Józef Feliks Męcina-Krzesz-Polish painter. He painted paintings with religious and historical content and portraits. He studied: 1877-1884 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (under Władysław Łuszczkiewicz, Florian Cynk, Jan Matejko), 1886 in Paris (at the school of Jean-Paul Laurens). He collaborated as an illustrator with "L'Illustration" and "Figaro Illustré" magazines. He was a member of the board of directors of the General Association of Polish Artists since 1894 and of the Union Internationale des Beaux-Arts et des Lettres in Paris since 1913. [for: min.
