Studied at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow under Jan Matejko (1877-1884), deepened in Paris with the studio of J.P. Laurens. In 1882-1892, he officially exhibited his works at the Salons; in 1889 he received a Mention Honorable for his portrait of E. Chojecki. He made illustrations for the magazines Illustration and Figaro illustre. He painted paintings of historical subjects, genre scenes, religious numerous portraits. works exhibited in many exhibitions at home and abroad, where they were very popular (Paris, St. Petersburg, Kiev, Budapest, Berlin).
