Hipolit Lipinski (born August 14, 1846 in Nowy Targ, died June 27, 1884 in Cracow) - Polish painter of the 19th century, representative of the artistic direction of realism.In 1859-1870 and 1874-1876 he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow, and in 1870-1872 in Munich (in early February 1871 he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts - Antikenklasse)[1]. In 1875-1884 he was a teacher of drawing and painting at the A. Baraniecki Higher Courses for Women. Co-organizer of the National Museum in Cracow.Author of genre scenes of village and city life, he also painted folk customs, landscapes and portraits. His works are in the Historical Museum of the City of Cracow, the National Museum in Warsaw, the National Museum in Wroclaw and the National Museum in Cracow, among others.
