Biography
Born in1909 in Warsaw, died in 1994 in Nice. Self-taught French painter, counted among the Surrealists. He grew up in Vienna. In 1942 he made his way to France with his family and settled in Nice, part of the unoccupied part of France. In London, he exhibited his works at L'Arcade Gallery. In 1948, he returned to France and exhibited his works for the first time in Paris at an exhibition of young artists, receiving a prize. It was then that he decided to devote himself exclusively to painting. His paintings, held in the convention of Surrealism, were exhibited in many painting salons and were included in the collections of many museums and private collections.
