Mieczyslaw Wejman - Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow and Warsaw. He practiced printmaking and painting. Member of the "9 Graphic Artists" group. He took part in numerous exhibitions and has had 25 exhibitions in various European cities. He was a rector at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow for many years. He has won many awards, including: at the 4th International Graphics Biennale in Ljubljana; the Critics' Award at the "Contemporary Polish Graphics" exhibition in Essen; an award at the 1st International Graphics Biennale in Cracow; an award at the International Biennale "Sport in Art" organized in Madrid. He is a recipient of the Prize of the Minister of Culture and Art and the State Prize.
