Polish painter, printmaker and illustrator, member of the Association of Polish Artists.
Daughter of Wincenty Szalewski and Stefania, née Sójkowska. In 1958, she graduated from the State High School of Visual Arts in Szczecin. In 1961, she received an award in a poster competition for the Festival of Puppet Theaters of Northern Poland. In 1963, she received a master's degree in artistic graphics from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń; her thesis supervisor was Associate Professor Ryszard Krzywka.
