Biography
Graduate of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He refers to the poetics of surrealism, creating abstract compositions that he combines with fragments of reality. Some of his works are reminiscent of representations of tissues, organs and body secretions, surprisingly juxtaposing sharp geometric forms with organic softness. He is considered a forerunner of artists from the circle of the so-called "reality-weary" (including Tymek Borowski, Tomasz Kowalski and Jakub Julian Ziolkowski), who reach for stylistics that deviate from realism and comment on the surrounding world.
