Biography
Graduate of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He refers to the poetics of surrealism, creating abstract compositions that he combines with fragments of reality. Some of his works bring to mind representations of tissues, organs and bodily secretions, surprisingly juxtaposing sharp geometric forms with organic softness. He is considered a forerunner of artists from the circle of the so-called "reality-weary" (including Tymek Borowski, Tomasz Kowalski and Jakub Julian Ziolkowski), who reach for stylistics that deviate from realism and comment on the surrounding world.
