Graduated in 1970 from the State Academy of Fine Arts in the studio of Prof. Marian Jaeschke. In addition to easel painting, he also practiced drawing and printmaking. Participant of many solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Laureate of, among others, the 1st Jan Spychalski National Painting Competition in Poznan (1974) and the National Competition on the 30th anniversary of the Polish People's Republic in Warsaw (1975). The artist's works are in museum and private collections at home and abroad.
