Biography
Graduate of the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź at the Faculty of Painting (diploma in 1970) in the atelier of Prof. Marian Jaeschke. The artist's works have been presented at numerous collective and individual exhibitions at home and abroad, including in France, Great Britain, Germany, Norway, Austria, Spain, Sweden and Denmark. He has practiced oil painting, watercolor and drawing. Jerzy Mroz's paintings are in museum and private collections in Poland and other countries[1]. Since 2000, in the villa of the Mroz family in Lagiewniki at 14 Baroque Street in Lodz, he ran the Jerzy Mroz Author's Gallery, where he organized many meetings with cultural artists. In 2014, the painters' villa was sold.
