Illustrator, painter, sculptor, set designer. In 1947-49 he studied at the High School of Fine Arts in Cracow. In 1950, he began studying painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studio of Prof. Adam Marczyński. He received his diploma in 1955. At the same time he studied art history at the Jagiellonian University. In 1956 he left Cracow for Warsaw. The artist is one of the most prominent Polish artists involved in illustration. At the beginning of the 1990s, the artist became interested in sculpture, which quickly became as important a field for him as illustration. At the auction we present a sculpture of a dog, made of wood. Wilkon's works can be found in many private and public collections at home and abroad.
