French saber model 1822 in scabbard
Length in scabbard 110 cm, length of saber without scabbard 106 cm
HEAD: length measured after the chord 91 cm
CONDITION: good.The head has one micro chipping on the blade. Other than that, no damage.
HEAD SIGNATURES: name of the Chaterelaut factory and date of manufacture 1876.
HANDLE: closed, brass. Leather with losses visible in the photos. Handle braid made of brass wire.
HANDLE SIGNATURES: serial number 387 and technical inspection marks.
SHIELD: made of steel plate. Neck with rivet-fastened collar. At the top the antabka and the carrying wheel movable. All without damage. Length of scabbard: 95 cm
Scabbard signatures: technical inspection marks. On the antabka there is a serial number 555.
