Zofia Elżbieta Fijałkowska - Polish graphic artist and painter active in Warsaw.
From 1927 to 1938 she studied at the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw with Władysław Skoczylas, Edmund Bartłomiejczyk and Stanisław Ostoi-Chrostowski[4]. She made her debut in 1936 at the Second International Woodcut Exhibition in Warsaw, where she was awarded a distinction. In 1936-1939 she was a member of the "Black and White" group of printmakers. During this period she mainly practiced woodcuts. In 1937-1938, she created a series of woodcuts with mountain themes. In the second half of the 1930s, the artist's favorite subjects included landscapes: park avenues, forest glades, mountain views[5]. In addition to woodcuts, she designed greeting cards, illustrations, created ex-librises and was also involved in applied graphics - she created illustrations for children's books.
