The work comes from the series "The Life of Mary," which was created in 1502-1511. The print presented here is dated 1542-1567. The paper shows a watermark (filigree) depicting a variant of the Prague coat of arms - a gate with three towers, which was used in the Prague paper mill during the time period indicated.
