Letter to the Prince.

Lipski Tadeusz, senator, director of the National Theater, castellan of Łęczyce. Letter to the prince, June 27, 1762 , dimensions 18 x 11.5 cm.
Handwritten letter with author's autograph. Lipski sends back to some prince (Czartoryski? Radziwill?) documents entrusted to him. Tadeusz Lipski (1722-1796) was a castellan of Łęczyca and Brzeziny, senator, general of the crown army, knight of the Order of the White Eagle and director of the National Theater in Warsaw appointed by King Stanislaw August. He created rules and regulations for actresses and actors and wrote several comedies. Traces of flooding and decay of the upper margin otherwise good condition.9131/11
