Handwritten dedication by the author to Henryk Szczyglinski on the front cover. A brief history of "Michalik's Den" and a description of more than 180 objects (paintings, drawings, caricatures, lithographs, memorabilia) collected in its rooms and associated mainly with the social circle of the "Green Balloon" cabaret. A sort of guide to the memorabilia collection, it contains a wealth of information on the history of Krakow's Young Poland artistic community. Zenon Pruszyński, publisher, owner of Artistic Lithography by A. Pruszyński, a friend of artists, in his establishment saw the light of day, among others, the "Teka Melpomeny" and thematic cycles of lithographs by Leon Wyczółkowski. Henryk Szczyglinski (1881-1944) prominent painter and illustrator, author of the cover design of the offered book. Cracked spine, block loose, otherwise good condition.
