Printed in an edition of 125 numbered copies. The offered piece autographed by the author and her husband bears No. 37 and belongs to a group embossed on smooth rag handmade paper from Pescia-Val di Nievole, illustrated with light prints. Text folded by hand in "Nicolas Cochin" font. The linocuts, made by the author in linocut, repeat Renaissance lattice motifs. Initials and titles are printed in red. The first publication of the Florentine Tyszkiewicz publishing house , a publishing house founded by Samuel Tyszkiewicz (1889-1954), active in 1926- 1954. Its aim was to publish bibliophilic prints in small circulation in its own font and in its own original bindings. The book is the thesis of Samuel's wife and collaborator, Maryla neumann, who had a significant influence on the artistic shape of the publishing house. The work, dedicated to the work of the outstanding Renaissance sculptor Bernardo Rossellino (1409-1464), was received with admiration by the circle of Polish bibliophiles.Binding of the Officina in full parchment referring to the bindings of old prints, decorated with 4 copper openwork overlays with a motif of plant threads and leaves.Minor soiling of several pages, soiling of the parchment binding, otherwise very good condition.
