Binding by Franciszek Joachim Radziszewski (signed in blind stamp " F. J. Radziszewski, Warsaw" on back cover). On both covers the same composition consisting of a gilded image of a Pegasus and colored floral rosettes. A large part of the book (pp. 41-167) is occupied by illustrations with reproductions of the most interesting examples of domestic decorative art. The most important monographic album of Polish art from the art deco period, which was published at the time of its greatest flowering. It constitutes the main publication documenting the Polish Department at the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris in 1925. Numerous photographs depict the appearance of the Polish pavilion at the Paris exhibition (which was an international success at the time), Zofia Stryjeńska's decorations, Mehoffer's stained-glass windows, Stanisław Szukalski's sculptures, Henryk Kuna's sculpture, furniture, kilims, shawls, lace, batiks, luxury book bindings, toys, ceramics and more. Some of the boards in color. At the end an index of illustrations and a "list of artists, contractors, publishers, schools, professors, students" whose works are reproduced. In the text part illustrations of graphic designs of beautifully published Polish books.
J. Warchałowski (1874-1939) - commissioner of the Polish pavilion at the Paris exhibition, promoter of the art of modernism, promoted young and unknown artists, already in 1913 drew attention to the young artist Zofia Lubańska (later Stryjeńska).
