Biography
Studied at the State School of Decorative Arts and Artistic Industry in Cracow under Henryk Uziembła. Then from 1932 at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts under Karol Tiche, Leonard Pękalski, Władysław Skoczylas and Edmund Bartłomiejczyk. Since 1937 he headed the Department of Obtainable Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He was involved in aurtistic and applied graphics, posters and painting. He has won numerous awards for his posters and is the author of the monumental polychrome of the Main Railway Station in Cracow.
