Polish sculptor, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 2008 from the Faculty of Sculpture under the direction of Professor Jerzy Nowakowski. Even before the Academy, she was a student of Marian Konieczny. She has had solo and group exhibitions. Her sculptures are in private collections at home and abroad. Together with Kinga Zielińska, they founded the artistic duo OTEKI. The artist creates in ceramics, bronze and stone. In her works she refers to classical sculpture, based on an excellent sculptor's workshop. The series "Sleep" refers to one of the basic human needs. In biological terms, it is a state in which there is stillness and abolition of consciousness, which can be interrupted without much problem (unlike coma). On average, it takes us more than twenty years to live. As early as ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, dream books were created, and dreams and their interpretation appear in religions around the world. In psychology, there has been a statement that our dreams are a picture of our joys, fears, difficult situations - including those we are not aware of. In her works, the artist touches on the subject of dreams multidimensionally: her sleeping figure is like a oneiric goddess connecting the two worlds. She is alive, but immersed in another dimension; unconscious, but participating in our reality.
