Buliera bulbous, on a circular footed base, vertically ribbed and puckered, with a spout in the form of a spout, with pins at the sides for seating on a frame, decorated at the top with a relief band of vine weed, edged with a similarly decorated orifice, with a hinged lid (no bolt) arched, ribbed and puckered, surmounted by a full-figured flower on a branch, with a baton-shaped handle composed of intertwining vine stems and a plain bone handle; the frame on four legs, with high sides, openwork, formed of vine stems with leaves and fruits, with a rim for seating a smooth, bulging and profiled burner with a lid

Its customers included King Louis Philippe, Emperor Napoleon III and the Russian tsars. It also supplied tableware to the world's most expensive hotels and restaurants. Branches of Christofel's factories were located in many cities around the world, including Karlsruhe, Buenos Aires and Milan.
