NORBLIN & Co (firm active 1819-1944), Pair of candlesticks

plater hallmarked (NORBLIN and SKA / GALW: / WARSZAWA in oval, V, B, model number 1174 - stamped inside); height 33.5 cm, foot diameter 13 cm.
Warsaw, 1st quarter of the 20th century.
On a round arched foot decorated with a band of relief fruit ornament, with a granular stem decorated with semi-plastic fruit garlands and acanthus leaves, terminating in a beveled sleeve framed at the bottom by a stylized lesbian kimation with a movable, plate-shaped profit.
A similar Norblin candlestick (differing in dimensions) was in the Wysiadecki collection (Maria Ejchman, "Catalogue of the Aniela and Tadeusz Wysiadecki Collection of Warsaw Platinum," Warsaw, 2005, p. 60, item 228).
