Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studios of professors Zbigniew Pronaszko and Zygmunt Radnicki. He received his diploma in 1960. He was a long-time activist of the ZPAP, creator and animator of the "Arkady" gallery operating at the Cracow BWA, author of dozens of exhibitions at home and abroad. He was honored with, among others, the B.W. Linke Award and awards of the city of Krakow. He died in 2016 (based on Desa Unicum description)
