Stanislaw Topfer. Polish painter, graphic artist and illustrator of children's books.
He was a member of the Group of 9 Graphic Artists, a Cracow-based art group, active between 1947 and 1960. It was the first Polish art group formed immediately after World War II and also the first to continue the pre-war traditions of graphic art. The work was printed in Anczyc's printing house in Cracow by Jozef Molenda, from original pear blocks.
