Ryszard Gieryszewski is one of the leading Polish contemporary artists working in the field of artistic printmaking. From 1959 to 1964 he studied at theWarsaw Academy of Fine Arts in the studios of Aleksander Kobzdej and Andrzej Rudzinski[2] (graduated in 1964). He was a member of theInternational Association of Wood Engravers XYLON in Switzerland[2].
