Ludwik Misky, owner: Ludwik de Delney Misky (born January 16, 1884 in Nowy Sącz, died February 1, 1938 in Cracow) - Polish painter.
He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1902-1910, with Leon Wyczółkowski, Józef Pankiewicz and Józef Mehoffer as his professors. At the same time, he was a student at the Department of Philosophy and History of Art at the Jagiellonian University. He then studied museology in Paris, Dresden, Leipzig, Berlin and Vienna. He returned to Krakow in 1907, took up a job as a drawing teacher, and in later years became a school inspector and visiting teacher.
He painted landscapes, portraits and still life. He was also a graphic artist practicing all metal techniques and woodcut. He was the author of several ex-librises and kilims. The largest collection of the artist's works is in the Emil Zegadłowicz Manor House in Gorzeń Górny
