Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She received her diploma in 1952. An outstanding master of printmaking, she taught printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw for many years. Around 1956 a new tendency in Chrostowska's work became apparent, namely a passion for formal and technical experimentation, which in time led her to blur the boundaries between printmaking and painting.
