Graphic artist. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under Jan Stanislawski, Jozef Unierzyski and Wojciech Weiss (1906-09). He continued his education at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts, initially studying architecture and later at the Faculty of Applied Arts. In 1917-30 he was a lecturer at the Warsaw University of Technology. In 1926 he took over the first Chair of Applied Graphics at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts. He was a member of the Ryt Graphic Artists and founder of the Circle of Advertising Graphic Artists. He was the recipient of many prestigious awards (e.g., a gold medal in the book and poster section at the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris in 1925).
