He comes from Katowice, lives there and works from there. By education: editor. By profession: storyteller, educator, writer and podcaster.
For more than a decade he has been professionally involved in storytelling and the art of storytelling in its purest form, conducting workshops for all ages. He tells and teaches stories. His main mission is to throw meeting participants into a world of unfettered imagination, and the tools he uses to achieve this goal are traditional tales and stories.
He has collaborated and cooperated with many cultural institutions throughout Poland, including the Ethnographic Museum in Krakow, the House of Education of the Silesian Library, the Municipal Public Library in Katowice and the Silesian Museum. He also works with the Book Institute on the Little Book - Big Man campaign. He also worked on the NASK and Ministry of Digitization's campaign Be from another fairy tale, about online safety. Winner of the Astrid Lindgren special award in 2016. Laureate of the international Orfeo&Majnun project, recipient of a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, winner of the Sunflowers award for the best children's activities in the "Word" category.
He is also the creator of storytelling for several Polish amusement parks (including Rabkoland, Cosmic Ranch and Czarogrody) and author of two guidebooks on Silesia.
He creates the blog basnienawarsztacie.pl and co-hosts a podcast for adults: They did not live happily ever after. He collaborates with the Lufcik na korbka theater.
Creating Birds was initially a relaxation technique for him, a way to focus his thoughts and de-stress. Today he creates them.... because he can.
