Biography
He became interested in photography in 1922, and already a year later won a bronze medal at the Light Exhibition in Poznan. He was a member of the Society of Photography Enthusiasts in Poznan from 1926, and president of the Society from 1930. Since 1947 member of the PTF in Warsaw and Gdansk, since 1949 member of the ZPAF. Before the war, he co-founded the photographic life in Poznan. His photographs - mainly landscapes - are characterized by mystery; the works, thanks to artistic procedures such as haze, give the impression of being unreal and fairy-tale-like. One of the representatives of pictorialism. Participant in many national and international exhibitions.
