Warsaw [ca. 1885]. J. Mieczkowski Photographic Company. 33x41.5 cm. Good condition (reverse glued with paper).

Photograph of an anonymous priest taken at the Photographic Establishment of Jan Mieczkowski (stamp at the bottom of the photograph) - a well-known Polish photographer, owner of photographic establishments in Warsaw, for a short period also in Paris. His photographs immortalized Adam Mickiewicz, Deotyma and Stanislaw Moniuszko, among others.
