Title: Dreamer
Technique: Acrylic on canvas
Kamila Kowalik
Her creative adventure with an easel and a palette began at the State High School of Fine Arts in Lublin, from which she graduated in the summer of 1995. In the fall of 1995, she began her studies at the Faculty of Arts of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University where, she learned to operate color, look, search and compose space on canvas. She received her diploma in painting in 2000.
Since then there have been several solo exhibitions in her hometown of Lublin. The artist's work is an endless description of the world. She works impulsively with great passion, commitment and perseverance. She does not care about lack of understanding or criticism, because when she closes herself in the studio with her canvases, brushes and paints I feel special. I focus on my own interior, emotions, moods. It simply tells another story.
He paints with acrylic paints mixing them with oil technique. Sometimes she uses ink, crayons or places pieces of cardboard or glittering crystals in her paintings to create a kind of collage.
Each painting is an invitation to a nostalgic journey through the nooks and crannies of her memories. The space and scenery of the artist's paintings are unique, mysterious, sometimes downright fantastic. All this, however, remains a fully original author's creation. She tries to create her own universe, and this act of creation takes place on two planes: as the creation of an image, but also the creation of a new universe.
Regardless of her professional experience, she always returns to art to look into the depths of her imagination. Painting is her passion. She always paints for pleasure and out of a desire to express herself, but always in accordance with her original painting style and aesthetics. She creates, paints, sketches and gathers new insights and ideas.
He is constantly thinking about the next painted canvases.
