Zygmunt ROZWADOWSKI, Rural landscape with cottages / Wild boars

Painter, associated with the Lvov artistic community, one of the authors of the "Battle of Pyramids" and "Raclawicka" panoramas. He studied under Matejko at the SSP in Cracow (1883 -1891) and at the Munich academy. In 1910-1920 he was a professor at the School of Artistic Industries in Lviv. In his Lviv apartment on Jablonovska Street, he held private lessons in drawing and painting in the interwar years. His favorite subject matter included battle scenes, he also painted genre scenes, landscapes and portraits. He died 23. 07. 1950 in Zakopane.
