Sozanski, one of the creators of Panorama Raclawicka, an artist befriended and portrayed by Jacek Malczewski, specialized in watercolor painting. Among his favorite subjects, in addition to genre scenes, landscapes, views of architecture and interiors and portraits, were folk types - popular among painters in the 19th century. The artist often traveled to Italy, probably during one of these trips, a portrait of the Serb Božidar Giorgievic was created.
