Ludwik Klimek- painter. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. While still a student, he went to France on a scholarship. The outbreak of war found him in Paris. The artist moved south, living in Cannes, Nice, St. Paul de Vence. Fascinated by Provençal and Mediterranean landscapes, he brightened his color palette. In his art one can see the influence of the paintings of his two friends, Picasso and Chagall
