1870 Kiev - 1937 Kraków
Studied at the Murashka Painting School in Kiev, and in 1891-1893 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under Luszczkiewicz, Unierzyski and Wyczółkowski. In 1894 he studied in Munich with Raupp and in Paris with Laurens, Constant and Girardot. In 1905 he returned to Poland. In 1917 he founded the Polish School of Fine Arts in Kiev. He painted religious and genre scenes, landscapes, flowers and portraits. He also did woodcuts and lithography. He exhibited his works at TPSP and TZSP.
