After the end of World War II, he settled in Lębork, where he worked as an animator of cultural life. In 1955, he settled in Zakopane, where for many years he was a teacher at the State Visual Arts Technical School and High School. He became associated with the local environment of the time. He devoted his painting talents to the Tatra landscapes. In 1974, he moved to Bochnia. Here he took a liking to views of the Niepołomska Forest, the Vistula Valley and the Foothills for his paintings.
