Josef Carl Berthold PÜTTNER
1821 Planá - 1881 Bad Vöslau Painter active in Bohemia and Austria. He created dramatic sea views with strong lighting effects. He was active in Vienna and later in Bad Vöslau. He traveled to Rome, Holland, Iceland and North and South America. He was a member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus and exhibited regularly at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts.
