Henryk Uziembło studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under T.Axen-towicz and S.Wyspianski, and then at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Paris, England and Italy. He painted in oils and pastels - genre scenes, portraits of country girls, and, under the influence of J.Stanislawski, also landscapes. He was engaged in decorative arts, designed stained glass and mosaics, and practiced decorative wall painting.
