Dutch marine painter. He came from a family with artistic roots - his father Willem van der Worp (1803-1878) successfully created marine-themed depictions. Hendrik lived in Zuthpen, Almeo (1867), Purmerend (until 1909) and Zaandam. Among the paintings left by the artist, depictions of lonely sailing ships in the middle of the sea predominate. His works can be found in numerous private collections.
