Painter, pupil of Carl Morgenstern, co-founder of the Brotherhood of St. Luke. Educated at the Breslau School of Art from 1906-1910, continued his studies at the Berlin academy and in Munich. From 1920 he lived in Szklarska Poreba, where he was associated with the community of Karkonosze painters, centered around the Brotherhood of St. Luke. Jackowski's most common landscape subjects were mountain views of the Karkonosze area.
