Biography
Painter and theater decorator, studied with decorator and painter Adam Malinowski, with whom he later collaborated in the Decoration Department of the Warsaw Government Theaters. In 1891-1908 he held the position of chief decorator of the WTR, and from 1909, also their chief engineer. Outside Warsaw, he also worked with theaters in Dąbrowa Górnicza and Sosnowiec. After retiring, in 1911, he devoted himself exclusively to painting. He realized decorations for ballets, created theater curtains, and participated in TZSP exhibitions since 1880. He painted mainly landscapes, using oil and watercolor techniques.
