Painter and decorator. From 1868 he studied with A. Malinowski as an apprentice in the decorating department of the Warsaw Government Theaters. In 1880 he became a junior decorator, and in 1891-1908, together with K. Klopfer, he became chief decorator of the Warsaw Government Theaters. From 1911 he devoted himself entirely to easel painting. His work was similar to that of Ch. Breslauer. He painted mainly landscapes, less frequently views of interiors. He created in oil and watercolor techniques.
