Zbylut Grzywacz - painter, sculptor, graphic artist, long-time lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Born on June 4, 1939 in Cracow. From 1957 to 1953 he studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, in the studio of Professor Emil Krycha. In 1972 he became a lecturer at his Alma Mater, and in 1992 was awarded the title of full professor. Together with Jacek Waltos, Leszek Sobocki and Maciej Bieniasz, he co-founded the WPROST Group from 1966. His works were presented in dozens of group and individual exhibitions at home and abroad; they are in private and public collections. The artist died on July 16, 2004.
