Original drawing, book illustration design. Janusz Stanny (1932-2014) - a master of Polish illustration and a respected educator who trained successive generations of artists. Graduate of graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1957). From 1975 to 2005 he led the Book and Illustration Studio at the same university, which he took over from Jan Marcin Szancer. In 1986, he was awarded the title of professor. From 1966 to 1980, he headed the editorial department of children's books at Ruch and later at the National Publishing Agency. He cooperated with many publishing houses, as well as the magazines "Miś", "Świerszczyk" and "Płomyk". (...) Author of graphic design and covers for many publishing series. He illustrated about 200 books. (...) Winner of numerous national and international awards. In 1998 he was included in the IBBY Honor List.
