Biography
Painter, draughtsman, author of spatial installations. Studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk (2005-10), where he received a diploma with distinction in the studio of Professor Teresa Miszkin. His diploma work "Hollow Art" won the Rectors Award - Grand Prix in the Best Diplomas of the Academy of Fine Arts 2010 competition. In 2015, at his alma mater, he defended his doctoral thesis "Chorography", the supervisor was Professor Anna Królikiewicz. The doctoral dissertation received the distinction of the Council of the Faculty of Painting and the Award of the Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts. In 2021, after receiving his postdoctoral degree, he works as a university professor at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk.
He is the author of dozens of solo and group exhibitions, at home and abroad, and has won many awards and prizes. For his artistic and pedagogical activities, he has twice received the Rector's Award of the third degree, (2012, 2015), and the Rector's Award of the second degree (2019). Winner of a Distinction in the 10th Geppert Competition (2011), twice a distinction at the Bielska Jesień Painting Biennale (2013, 2019).
