Biography
She studied for a year at the Faculty of Art at the University of Zielona Gora. In 2006, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. After graduation she returned to her hometown. She began to gain popularity while still a student. Critics noticed her at the art fair "Art Poznan 2005". She lived to see several individual exhibitions, including at the Zderzak gallery in Cracow. Alongside Polish artists already recognized as classics, she represented our country in 2005 in Berlin at the Art Forum fair. In 2006, her works were present at a group exhibition at the "Terra Polska" festival of young culture and art in Munich. From December 2006 to February 2007, Basia Bańda's paintings could be seen among 60 of the best-known Polish painters in Warsaw's Zachęta Gallery at the exhibition "Polish Painting of the 21st Century."
