Painter, pedagogue, university teacher. Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun - diploma in painting in 1974, in the studio of Professor Mieczyslaw Wisniewski. In the same year he took up a job at his alma mater; currently he is a professor in the Department of Painting and director of the Art Institute of the Faculty of Fine Arts at M. Copernicus University in Torun.
